Sona Chandi Chawanprash!!!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

The man needs no introduction. But Bappida, as he is popularly known, sang/composed two songs which didn't match his metal-studded personality,

Lie No 1:

Film: Disco Dancer
Song: Goron Ki Na Kaalon Ki Duniya He Dilwalon Ki, "Na Sona Na Chandi" Geeton Se Humko Pyaar...

Lie No 2:

Film: Saheb
Song: Yaar Bina Chain Kahan Re, Yaar Bina Chain Kahan Re, "Sona Nahin, Chandi Nahin" Yaar To Mila, Arre Pyar Karle...

Our take: Now looking at the above image where we can't even see the cargo on his neckline - at least 10 necklaces on a rough count - one can easily say that both these claims were pure unadulterated lies.

Arre yaar, let's not call them lies... after all, artist(e)s of the SIZE of Mr. Lahiri (givin him the respect due to one of his eminent stature...) are entitled to bucketloads of artistic license.

:D

Hehe..I've always wondered how he manages to fly..forget about the excess bagage..how going through security check must be...metal detectors must go wild...and make noise...very intelligently bappi da records and reproduces in next movie.....although a lifelong fan of bappi da...some of his numbers sound as if that was teh method used...
